Introduction

Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) offers annual English-taught winter and summer programs for international students and scholars. Leveraging Beijing’s unique position as China’s capital, this program blends Chinese language learning with immersive cultural experiences, uniting the city’s rich history and vibrant modernity. Each year, over 500 participants from more than 30 countries join to gain global perspectives and hands-on experience. In Winter 2026, BIT will launch a flexible hybrid program—online and on-campus—focused on Chinese language and cultural learning. u Applicant: Students from BIT's Partner university only（Please ensure the full English name of your current university is correctly provided in the "Recommender" section.）

u Fee: Free

 Note:

1.All the programs will be conducted in English.

2.If the number of students enrolled in a program is less than 15, the program will be canceled.

3.Enrollment for the on-campus program is limited. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

u Non-Chinese citizen

u English proficiency (meet one of the following):

ü IELTS ≥ 6.0 or TOEFL ≥ 85 or equivalent (waived for native English speakers)

ü English Proficiency Certificate issued by the current school

ü Certificate of English-Medium Instruction issued by the current school

u Age: 18 to 45 years old
